Chengdu 成都

四川省省会，中国历史文化名城之一，位于省境中部，以汉族为多，有回、蒙古、藏、苗、满、土家等44个少数民族，辖7区8县，代管4个县级市。名胜古迹众多，有武侯祠、杜甫草堂、都江堰、王建墓、什邡堂古邛窑遗址、辛亥秋保路死事纪念碑等国家级重点文物保护单位6处，有彭大将军家珍殉国纪念碑等省级文物保护单位32处，有孙中山铜像等市级文物保护单位68处。

Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan Province and one of China’s famous historical and cultural cities. Located in central Sichuan, it is mainly inhabited by the Han ethnic group, along with 44 minority groups including Hui, Mongol, Tibetan, Miao, Manchu, and Tujia. Chengdu administers 7 districts, 8 counties, and oversees 4 county-level cities. It is rich in cultural heritage, with 6 nationally protected sites such as Wuhou Shrine, Du Fu Thatched Cottage, Dujiangyan, and the Tomb of Wang Jian. Additionally, there are 32 provincially protected sites and 68 city-level cultural relics, including the bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen.
