Hainan Island 海南島

海南岛，又称琼州、琼崖，是中国南海西北部的一座岛屿，是中华人民共和国海南省的主体部分。它北隔琼州海峡与大陆相望，陆地面积约3.321万平方公里，是南中国海最大的岛屿，也是中国第二大岛，实际控制的第一大岛。

Hainan Island, also known as Qiongzhou or Qiongyai, is located in the northwestern part of the South China Sea and serves as the mainland portion of Hainan Province in the People’s Republic of China.
It is separated from the mainland to the north by the Qiongzhou Strait. With a land area of approximately 33,210 square kilometers, Hainan Island is the largest island in the South China Sea, the second-largest island in China, and the largest island under actual Chinese administration.
