Ho Chi Minh City, at the southern tip of Vietnam, is the country’s largest city and economic center. Located in the Mekong Delta, it lies along the Saigon River.

The city is known for its beautiful river views and popular attractions like temples, parks, and the Notre-Dame Cathedral.

Formerly called Saigon, it was once part of the Khmer Empire. It became a major port under Vietnamese rule in the 18th century and was renamed Ho Chi Minh City in 1976 after Vietnam’s reunification.
